Privacy policy · Effective September 6, 2026
Your choices make a sequence. This ledger explains how the app handles those choices.
Scope
This policy covers Linkshift for Android and this companion website. It explains the data used by the current app features: puzzle strips, step traces, saved experiments and preferences.

Local storage
The Android app stores small preference records in its private app storage. These records include the selected challenge, current operations, saved experiments, completion markers and reduced-motion choice.

Puzzle inputs
Choosing a challenge or arranging operations changes a sequence inside the app. The app does not request your name, email address, phone number or precise location.

Experiments
When you keep an experiment, its challenge reference, ordered operations and save time are retained locally. You can resume or remove an individual experiment from Archive.

Preferences
The reduced-motion preference and current workbench state are retained between sessions. The preference changes presentation without changing puzzle results.

Image library
Illustrations are packaged with the Android app. Viewing them does not upload your activity. This website serves its own illustrations as page assets.

Permissions
The Android app requests no runtime permissions. It does not access contacts, camera, microphone, location, shared photos or other apps’ private storage.

Network
The Android app has no Internet permission and sends no app data to a server. A browser must contact the website host when visiting a hosted copy of these pages; the host may process connection information such as IP address and request time.

Analytics
The Android implementation and these website pages contain no analytics SDK or tracking code. Hosting-provider infrastructure may keep ordinary request logs outside the app.

Advertising
The app and website contain no advertising SDK, advertising identifiers or personalized advertising features.

Sharing
The app does not provide an export or social-sharing feature. Screenshots you choose to make and share through your device are handled by the apps you use for that action.

Backups
Android app backup is disabled in the app manifest. Device or operating-system behavior outside the app may differ; do not rely on the app as a backup service for experiments.

Retention
Local workshop records remain until you remove them, reset workshop data, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. The app does not maintain server copies.

Deletion
Remove one saved experiment in Archive, or use Reset workshop data in workshop controls to clear the app’s stored workshop records. The reset asks for confirmation.

Children
Linkshift is a general sequence-puzzle experience. It does not request age or child identity information and has no social messaging or user-submission feature.

Security
Android’s application sandbox separates the app’s private records from ordinary access by other apps. Device security, system updates and access to the device remain relevant. No system can promise absolute security.

Updates
A future version may change features or data handling. Review the policy supplied with that version. This policy describes Linkshift version 1.0.0.
